Founder Ryu Han-wook, who refined his vision of luxury products while dealing with various imported fountain pens and precious
metals in the 1970s and 1980s, opened a specialized watch store, 'Basel', in the basement of the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong in 1992,
contributing to the activation of the domestic luxury watch market. Subsequently, the store was renamed 'Greenwich' and in November 2002,
it was selected as an official Rolex boutique, marking a new chapter in its history. From 2002 to 2010, it operated the nation's
first watch and jewelry-related website, fostering a community. Based on this extensive experience, in February 2007, the store
relocated to the main branch of Shinsegae Department Store, further enhancing its role as a prestigious and professional official Rolex retailer.

The journey of Greenwich has been exceptional. Prior to being officially selected as a Rolex partner in November 2002,
Greenwich made a bold move in February 2001 by opening the country's first standalone boutique. Adopting the name 'Greenwich'
from the birthplace of the world's standard time in East London, the boutique was established in the arcade of the Lotte Hotel's
basement level, offering customers a unique experience and service. Maintaining a steadfast commitment to professionalism and
exclusively dealing with officially imported watches, Greenwich took its first step as an official Rolex boutique in February 2003.
As an official Rolex boutique and a part of the global network, Greenwich has proudly upheld this partnership for over 20 years.
